Founded in 2002, the Peoria Zen Center, in the Ten Directions Zen Community follow the KwanUm School of Zen, a branch of Korean Buddhism based on the teachings of Zen Master Seung Sahn, who lived and taught in the US since the early 1970's.

The Peoria Zen Sangha is a group of people of diverse ages and backgrounds who practice Zen. We support each other in our practice, and help each other achieve our individual goals. We offer basic instruction to those who wish to begin a Zen practice, but we encourage you to find your own spiritual path.
